About Devon McLeod

I help thoughtful and empathic individuals develop emotional balance, self-trust and healthier relationships through flower essence coaching - a gentle, yet powerful all-natural approach that supports emotional regulation and nervous system balance without overriding your natural intuition.

My foundation includes formal clinical training and 18+ years of professional experience. I hold a Master's in Social Work from Columbia University and a bachelor's degree from the University of Southern California. My clinical background includes outpatient mental health work and advanced postgraduate training in Gestalt Therapy, attachment-based approaches and psychoanalytic methods.

While I no longer practice traditional psychotherapy, I bring this clinical depth into a coaching-oriented model that allows for more holistic, individualized support.

Flower essences are all-natural, energetic remedies derived from plants that gently support emotional well-being. They work to calm the nervous system and enhance intuitive awareness. With over 100 hours of specialized training in this modality, I've found it uniquely effective for emotionally attuned individuals because it creates meaningful shifts without forcing change or diminishing one's own depth and intuition.

As someone who is highly empathic myself - and as a wife and mother who has lived in California, New York City, and now Tennessee - I understand the challenge of appearing capable while internally navigating anxiety, perfectionism, and the weight of absorbing others' emotions.

Through my own journey, I learned that emotional depth isn't something to fix, but a strength to support. When properly understood, it allows for profound insight, intuition and connection. Without the right tools, however, it can lead to overwhelm, self-doubt, and burnout.

This understanding is at the core of my work today. I help emotionally aware and empathic individuals build self-trust, set boundaries without guilt, and cultivate relationships that feel nourishing rather than depleting - through a grounded, emotionally attuned, and holistic approach.
