I support sensitive and empathic individuals in developing emotional balance, self-trust, and healthier relationship patterns through flower essence therapy.
My work is grounded in both formal clinical training and specialized study in flower essences. I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Southern California and went on to Teach For America, where I taught second grade for two years in the Bronx. This early experience deepened my understanding of emotional development, resilience, and the impact of environment on well-being.
I later received my Master’s Degree in Social Work from Columbia University and worked in an outpatient mental health clinic, supporting individuals and families in a clinical setting. I also completed advanced postgraduate training in Gestalt Therapy, along with additional study in attachment-based and psychoanalytic approaches. I bring over 17 years of experience working with individuals in a professional setting.
While my background is rooted in psychotherapy, I no longer practice therapy. Instead, I bring this depth of training into a coaching-oriented model that allows for more expansive, holistic, and individualized support.
My current work is centered on flower essence therapy, with over 100 hours of specialized training in these natural, energetic remedies. Flower essences gently support emotional regulation, nervous system balance, and intuitive awareness. What draws me most to this modality is its ability to create meaningful emotional shifts without forcing change or overriding sensitivity. It works in a way that honors the depth, intuition, and emotional awareness that sensitive individuals naturally carry.
Beyond formal training, my work is deeply personal. I’m a wife and mother who was raised in California, spent over a decade living and working in New York City, and now call Tennessee home. These experiences have shaped my understanding of transitions, identity, and what it means to create a life that feels aligned rather than simply expected.
As a highly sensitive person, I know what it feels like to appear capable on the outside while internally navigating anxiety, pressure, and perfectionism. I spent years absorbing the emotional environments around me and feeling responsible for maintaining harmony, often at the expense of my own needs.
Through my own journey, I came to understand that sensitivity is not something to fix, but a strength to support. When properly understood, it allows for deep emotional insight, intuition, and connection. Without the right tools, however, it can lead to overwhelm, self-doubt, and burnout.
This understanding is at the core of my work today. I help sensitive and empathic individuals build self-trust, set boundaries without guilt, and cultivate relationships that feel nourishing rather than depleting—through a grounded, emotionally attuned, and holistic approach.
