What can I expect from the first session? 

The first time we meet, we'll talk about what you want to change in your life, as well as the things that are going well. No worries if you can't think of anything specific before you come in. 

You can simply show up for your first session. 



What will we talk about? 

You can talk about the day to go day goings on in your life, as well as the deeper frustrations and concerns you may have. You never have to show up to sessions with any agenda or ideas, but if list making is your style - you certainly can! There's no right or wrong way to start. We'll customize sessions based on your specific goals. 



What form of payment do you accept?

You can pay with venmo, credit card, checks or cash. 



Do you take insurance? 

I'm considered an "out of network provider" for insurance companies. That means, you can submit your invoice, which I'll provide at the end of every month, and based on your plan, you may receive money back. I'll walk you through the process. 



What's your cancellation policy? 




Do you offer phone sessions? 

Yes! In-person is preferred if you're in NYC and can make it. There's nothing like being face-to-face with someone, after all. But if you're out of the area and need support, phone sessions are incredibly helpful. 



How will I know if it's working? 

You and I are going to be really specific about the changes you want to see in your life during our first few sessions. Every few sessions, we'll check in to make sure things are progressing. 



How many times will we meet? 

Some people find it helpful to come in for a batch of six sessions, while other people like the support of consistent sessions throughout the year. We'll discuss what works for you.
